Jazz & Classical Choir and Orchestra in Portland
Since our founding in 1993, Bravo! Vancouver (now Bravo! Northwest) has become one of the most successful arts organizations in the Portland Metro / Southwest Washington region. Based in Vancouver, Washington, Bravo! has presented concerts, festivals, education programs for students and adults; concert tours in the Pacific Northwest, New York City and Washington D.C. and to Italy, Croatia and Bosnia-Herzoginva; and CD recordings of classical, jazz, sacred and other music.
Our Mission Statement is: "Bravo! Northwest is a music organization committed to the Performance, Presentation, Appreciation and Advancement of the Arts in our Community."
Bravo! is a nonprofit concert arts organization which currently focuses on several major areas of music production and performance. These include, but are not limited to: our Bravo! Northwest Concert Series ("Bravo! Vancouver Series" and "Music at The Madeleine Series"); the Vancouver Wine & Jazz Festival; regional arts partnerships and concert tours; international arts partnerships and tours, including our Dubrovnik Wine & Jazz Festival and concerts with the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra; community outreach such as our "Community Sponsored Concerts" in Battle Ground; educational projects such as our Jazz Masterclass Workshop for students; CD recordings by our Chorale and Orchestra...and much more. We are currently in the process of changing our name to Bravo! Northwest - which will reflect more accurately the broad scope of music, arts, education and outreach that we provide in our region. Your contribution will be used to DIRECTLY support our concerts and the Vancouver Wine & Jazz Festival, as well as the other arts programs we provide as part of our MISSION.
If you wish to fund a specific PROJECT (for example: a specific concert, a student masterclass, a jazz artist at the Vancouver Wine & Jazz Festival, a CD recording, a "Concert For Kids", etc.) please call Artistic Director Dr. Michael Kissinger at 360-906-0441.
Thank you for supporting us and our Mission!
