This is one of our favorite musical pieces - and we know you will enjoy it too! Igor Stravinsky composed his L’Histoire du Soldat (The Soldier’s Tale) in 1917 for 7 instruments and 3 actors. It’s a classic story about the human struggle between good and evil. There’s a soldier, a magic fiddle, and a sneaky devil that tempts the soldier with money and a beautiful princess. Great music and a spellbinding story, but how does it end? Buy a ticket to find out!

Charlie Chaplin was not only an actor and director - he was also a musician and composer. This concert is the 1925 silent film The Gold Rush with our live Chamber Orchestra performing Chaplin’s original silent film music. The plot... It is in the middle of the Alaska Gold Rush. A Lone Prospector (Charlie Chaplin) searches the tundra for gold. But he finds more than gold; he finds love and an uproarious adventure that forever changes the lives of the people he meets.

The Requiem in D Minor by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was the final music that Mozart composed in his brief but intense life. Guitar virtuoso and three time Grammy nominee Stanley Jordan takes center stage for our Bravo! season finale. In the world of jazz, Jordan is an innovator and a progressive - from his signature “tapping” technique to the simultaneous playing of both guitar and piano - his performances are always electrifying! Also on this program, Jordan will be joined by our Bravo! Big Band in a musical tribute to the legends of jazz. What a great way to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Bravo! Vancouver.
